About? Where? Meetings? Ground Plan Visitor Member News

Members meet at the ground on Wednesday mornings and afternoons and Sunday mornings. Members are entitled to operate their models whenever they wish except on public running days (PRD's) where only certain pre-arranged locomotives capable of pulling loaded passenger trains are allowed.

In addition to 'Member Only' events the Society ground is also open to the general public on a number of Sunday afternoons during the summer months (see Public Calendar). A garden atmosphere prevails, with train rides, boating displays and light refreshments.

'Member Only' events include Barbeques and Running Days/Nights, as well as visits to other Model Engineering Societies. Driver Training is always available.

During the winter season (October thru' March) Monday evening meetings are periodically held at the Pavilion (opposite the CSME ground). In addition to normal Society business, programmes include talks on a variety of subjects, films, videos and alternate 'Chat Nights', when Members meet, talk and partake of some light refreshment.
